Enchanted Makeovers

Terry's Hometown

Outside of the EM mission the Founder, CEO and Visionary of Enchanted Makeovers, wife and mother to four young adults, Terry still finds the time to personally use her talent and passion for helping others in her own community.  As a former award-winning interior decorator, she felt very blessed when the City of Taylor, Former Mayor Jeff Lamarand and Home Depot asked her in the Summer of 2013 if she would volunteer her time to transform the houses they renovate & donate to Veterans of War and their families into "Homes". It was an instant YES!

Through her work in homeless shelters with Enchanted Makeovers, Terry is well aware of the issues some veterans face everyday.  While flawless counts are impossible to come by – the transient nature of homeless populations presents a challenge- HUD estimates that 62,619 veterans are homeless on any given night  Female veterans are two to four times more likely to be homeless than non-Veteran females and over one-third of homeless female veterans have disabilities.  Over 74% screen positively for Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome which makes it so important to have a nurturing environment while living in a shelter.

Terry strongly believes in serving her community and urges others to get involved in their communities by using their time and talent.
