Kim Lampe — Dancing B.A.G. (Believe Act Go) Lady...Webpage Designer for Special Events(MN)
Kim is the creator of Modern BAG Ladies, whose mission is to provide women with their daily dose of "Believe vitamin" and encourage women to Act so that they can fulfull their deep desire to Go places they thought only existed in their dreams. We will spread our new-found joy, shred our fears and have more fun. We are real! We are not Yes-ladies! We are "Oh Yes"-ladies and it feels damn good!
Kim Lampe was determined not to be a casualty of corporate America. Her journey through life and business has prepared her to trade in "Team Corporate" for "Team Women." She is grateful for her 20 years experience in corporate America. MBAGL puts a unique spin on her acquired leadership skills to the benefit of women. She adapts her experience with business process improvements, customer service operations and leadership skills to the MBAGL business model. She’s not redefining myself, but rather realigning her inner purpose with her outer purpose, which is helping women experience more "Oh Yes" moments. She has gone from leading for the good of stockholders to leading "Oh Yes"-ladies, from catering to shareholders to sharing her message and from hiding her song to singing even when she doesn’t know all the words.
Kim has been operating under the B.A.G. model most of her adult life and her message is louder today than ever before. Her philosophy has consistently provided promotions up through the ranks of corporate America and sharpened her leadership skills that paint the vision employees feel empowered to realize. Kim has observed in herself and in other women that, many times, women don’t know who they are and how to share themselves with the world. It is her firm belief that the world needs womens' influences in reshaping the definition of social responsibility and success. Her most joyous part of her journey started when she "got real" with herself, worried less about getting and more about spreading joy, shredding fear and having fun. All she knows from this point on is that she must help other women along this journey.

Jill Jack — Special Events (MI)
Jill Jack brings musical inspiration to our special events held by Enchanted Makeovers. Jill is a canny original singer/songwriter who’s flown under the radar, quietly building herself a huge and loyal following in her home state of Michigan.
Along the way, she has amassed a recorded catalog of uncommon depth, passion and vision, winning 24 Detroit Music Awards in the last decade across three different genres (Acoustic/Folk, Country, and Pop/Rock) for vocalist, songwriter, album, and artist. Jill creates a musical tapestry that allows elegance, grace and rugged self-reliance. That she can carry them all in the grain of her voice as the foundations of hard-won truth is simply captivating.
Her sixth CD, Moon and the Morning After, put her on the National Radar, receiving airplay around the US. One radio station said, "Jill Jack — I just keep thinking, somehow, that if Waylon Jennings was a woman, it would be her! She's sharp, she's witty and she's got soul. Most important, I think based on her songwriting and style, she's got staying power; she gives Tift Merritt some real competition." With such high demand from fans purchasing the song Live Like There's No Tomorrow, Jill decided to release the single while currently working on her seventh full-length CD, Songwriter Sessions, which will be released in 2009.

Donajane Lapinski — Delivery Angel (MI)
Donajane grew up in Allen Park and currently lives in Brownstown, Michigan. She attended the University of Michigan and graduated in 1966 with a B.S. degree in Interior Design. Donajane worked in Human Resources at Ford Motor Company from 1967-1986. In 1994, she opened a store that sold, rented and repaired mobility products for the physically challenged (scooters, manual and power wheelchairs, lift chairs and modified lift vans) until 2005. During that time, she volunteered equipment and services to numerous organizations and individuals.
In between careers, Donajane worked on several volunteer projects including the annual fund raiser of the Guidance Center, a live and silent auction. Each week, she volunteers for the St. Vincent Hospital Hippotherapy Program which allows physically and mentally challenged youngsters ride horses to improve their balance and flexibility.
Donajane read in the newspaper about Terry’s project to make over Grace Center of Hope women’s living area in Pontiac, MI. She drove everywhere as the "Delivery Angel" to pick up and deliver any donations to the project. She also painted and worked on the final "put it together" day when the space was totally redecorated in one day. Donajane is now part of the Vista Maria project to remake the living space for young girls in crisis and is always available for Enchanted Makeovers endeavors.
Mary Stanczyk — In-Kind Donations Coordinator and Donation Administrator (MI)
Mary grew up in the Downriver community of Southgate, Mich. She has been a longtime resident of Westland. She is married to Bob and is the proud mom of a grown daughter, Nicole.
Life for Mary has been a joyful mixed bag of working outside the home, being a SAHM, and spending many years as a volunteer with her daughter's schools, Girl Scouts and dance program.
After reading about Terry's lofty goal of making over Grace Centers of Hope women and children's living quarters in 2007, Mary felt a strong calling to participate. A family member had been a former resident of Grace Centers, and Mary knew how badly the makeover was needed. She also knew what a huge undertaking the project would be. It was a "no-brainer" to say she wanted to help, not only with the first 2007 Grace Center Makeover but also the 2008 Grace Center project, and she jumped right in for the 2009 Vista Maria Vision House project. She is currently looking forward to the launch of Enchanted Makeovers' 2010 National Outreach Events.
Mary enjoys her role with Enchanted Makeovers, handling the maintenance, inventory and organization of in-kind donations along with various other duties as they arise. Mary also has the task of mailing out all tax receipts, thank-you letters and awards along with keeping the organization database current . "It's been a real pleasure working with Terry and all the wonderful volunteers and donors who have been there with us and for us through these amazing makeovers," she said.
Rachel Gaffney — Culinary Events Coordinator (TX)
Rachel Gaffney applies her organizational talents and culinary skills to help create the perfect ambiance at Enchanted Makeovers’ outreach events. She first began working with Enchanted Makeovers at the Sisterhood of Dreamers into Doers NYC Shelter Event in January 2010. “Terry's idea was so fresh and inspiring,” she says. “We spoke at length months before the event, and I was touched by her story. I [saw how] the makeovers could be another step in [someone’s] recovery. We may not be medically trained, but our talents and gifts can help with the continued healing. I was hooked! I knew then that I wanted to work with Enchanted Makeovers and help with the food side of it.”
Rachel’s business success comes from a unique combination of personality and perfection with a pinch of Blarney. The founder of Rachel Gaffney's Authentic Irish Goods, she is authentically Irish herself.
"Growing up in Cork, we had my mother's special shortbread cookies at our own birthday parties. When I moved to America in 1996, I made them for parties of my own, and soon friends began to ask me to make my shortbreads for their gatherings. From there, I ventured into catering intimate groups, and Irish shortbread cookies became my signature,” Rachel says.
She began to sell the cookies in markets and gift shops around Dallas. As she produced the shortbreads in greater quantities, Rachel realized that use of premium butter was key to flavor and consistency. In the early days, she threw away hundreds of cookies that didn't meet her standards. "You can't take shortcuts to achieve the product I want," she says. You can't use refrigerated or frozen dough—it doesn't taste the same. And one thing I'm never going to do is add preservatives."
Rachel Gaffney's Tradional Irish Shortbreads are the authentic original cookie, and she has created a Lemon Zest flavor. As the name indicates, these are created with freshly zested lemons giving them a light infusion. You must try Rachel Gaffney's melt-in-your-mouth cookies to believe them. They're marvelous with a cup of tea or coffee, or as an elegant dessert paired with ice cream, fresh berries, whipped cream or chocolate.
Celebrating her heritage is key to Rachel Gaffney's drive to succeed with not only shortbreads but also an entire line of Irish offerings. "Being Irish doesn't have to be about shamrocks, green beer and leprechauns," she says. "Sometimes it's about simplicity and quality and celebrating an age old heritage."

Debbie Maddy — Sewing Instructor (TX)
I first met Terry at the Sisterhood of Dreamers into Doers NYC Shelter Event in January 2010. I was planning on quietly giving away three quilts, meeting fellow Dreamers, and seeing the sights. Needless to say this event was meant to be more than that for me. I was blown away at how giving away something that meant so much to me could mean so much more to someone else. The reactions of the three young ladies who received my quilts were so deeply emotional that I felt their joy and their pain. I knew at that moment that I wanted to continue to be a part of Terry’s mission and her goals were my goals. I want to continue to make a difference in the lives of others through my love of fabrics, sewing and quilting.
Like many quilters, I have always loved fabric! I learned to sew when I was nine years old and began doing hand embroidery and needlework as a teenager. In 1982, I learned to quilt and it quickly became one of my favorite hobbies. Classes from nationally known teachers followed, and in 1993, I decided to share my enthusiasm for quilting with others through teaching. My greatest satisfaction comes from introducing new people to quilting. Soon I was designing my own patterns for quilts that look difficult to make but are really easy for beginners. In 2002, I named my business Calico Carriage Quilt Designs and began presenting lectures and workshops for quilt guilds and shops. I hope I have the opportunity to meet many of you in my travels.
I'm a designer and a teacher, but I'm always a quilter first! I was absolutely thrilled when two of my quilts were juried into the 2004 International Quilt Association show at Quilt Festival in Houston. That same year, another of my quilts was accepted into the Hoffman Challenge, an annual traveling exhibit sponsored by Hoffman California Fabric. In 2005, I was invited to California to tape an episode of Simply Quilts for HGTV, and later that year, quilting became my full-time passion when I retired from a long career as a dental hygienist. It's been a dream come true ever since.
